1. Kleenex or tissue?<\/b> Kleenex.<\/p>\n

2. Soda or pop (or tonic or whatever)?<\/b> Soda.<\/p>\n

3. A sandwich on a long roll: sub or hero (or hoagie or grinder, etc)?<\/b> Sub.<\/p>\n

4. Glasses or spectacles? <\/b> (Snort.) Glasses.<\/p>\n

5. TV or television (or boob-tube, or telly, for our friends across the pond)?<\/b> TV.<\/p>\n

6. Movie or film?<\/b> Movie.<\/p>\n

7. Sofa or couch?<\/b> Sofa, though probably a quarter of the time we use couch.<\/p>\n

8. Stove or range?<\/b> Stove.<\/p>\n

9. Remote control or clicker?<\/b> We used to call it the “binkie,” but Katherine’s version of it has stolen that title, so now it’s the “remote.”<\/p>\n

10. Supermarket or grocery store?<\/b> Grocery store. <\/p>\n
