Just like the auto industry<\/a>, the pharmaceutical companies are having problems coming up with new drug names<\/a>. No longer is it adequate to coin something that sounds like shorthand for the constituent chemicals (pseudephidrine becoming “Sudafed,” for example). Now we have branding companies being paid big bucks to come up with eliciting names such as “Viagra.”<\/p>\n
