Harsh winter, it seems &#8212; a lot of them\u00a0are recovering from around the base, but at least five of the plants\u00a0are dead, dead, dead, including the big climbing rose on the side fence. \u00a0All in all, three full trash cans of deadwood (and the ones that were fully dead I didn&#39;t even do).<\/p>\n<p>A number of the Russian Sages show a lot of damage from the winter, too.
