The headline below is pretty awful (since nothing about "morality" is raised), but the research described is very interesting, if a bit prosaic: your handedness drives you to favor things that are on that side. People who are left-handed will think more highly or favor items on the left; vice-versa for those who are right-handed.<\/p>\n

The effect is, I suspect, not huge (otherwise it would be widely accepted), but it does make me wonder about some of the applications — advertising placement, offering choices to someone, landscape design, police line-ups, etc. \u00a0The aggregate of many small psychological nudges could be significant.\ufeff<\/p><\/div>\n
