{"id":4321,"date":"2003-09-25T07:24:05","date_gmt":"2003-09-25T14:24:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/wp\/?p=4321"},"modified":"2003-09-25T07:24:05","modified_gmt":"2003-09-25T14:24:05","slug":"the_terror_of_f","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2003\/09\/25\/the_terror_of_f.html","title":{"rendered":"The terror of flying First Class!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Knives are now allowed back on airplanes.  <\/p>\n<p>The TSA is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/cs\/CDA\/ssistory.mpl\/business\/2106441\">now allowing metal meal knives <\/a>&#8212; though, of course, only first class meals need them &#8212; to go along with the previously allowed (and arguably as dangerous) metal forks and spoons.  Northwest has already adopted the them, Continental plans to, and American is &#8220;evaluating its options.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Of course, trying to carry the same knife through security at the airport will still get you cuffed and hauled away as a potential terrorist.
