Bush years. Never mind that climate change has a direct impact on potential threats, unrest, allies, opponents, logistics, etc. \u00a0Any involvement in gathering info, sharing info, or making use of info about climate change is just &quot;political,&quot; and therefore must be expunged.<\/p>\n<p>The amendment, from\u00a0Rep. David McKinley (R-W.Va. &#8212; hey, who would have guessed a coal state would be the source of this) is will <i>probably<\/i> not survive the Senate and conference committees.
