I always enjoyed Garner's work — the casual ne'er-do-well who might pick your pocket but would help you against a band of thugs; who might beat you at cards down to the last penny, but would buy you a drink from what he just won from you. \u00a0Maverick, Jim Rockford, Hendley the Scrounger — he was always a pleasure to watch perform. \u00a0Thanks, Mr Garner.<\/p>\n
