For better or worse, I ended up with a single my Freshman year in college, and was able to wangle a single as a Sophomore and as a Senior (I had a roommate of choice as a Junior, which was sufficiently educational and also a lot of fun).<\/p>\n

But, honestly, I heard enough horror stories of random pairings to make me glad I didn't — though +<\/span>Margie Kleerup<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and +<\/span>Mary Oswell<\/a><\/span>\u00a0seem to have worked out okay after their first traumatic year together.\ufeff<\/div>\n
