Though some of the items have been recycled (and rererecycled), and others are a bit of an overgeneralizaton, the annual Beloit College “Mindset List<\/a>” is always entertaining. It’s the one that tracks what the incoming freshman class cannot relate to as part of their lifetimes.<\/p>\n

Given that these frosh were born around 1985 — eep! — the list is … um … disturbing.<\/p>\n

22. Jay Leno has always been on “The Tonight Show.”
\n23. They have no idea when or why Jordache jeans were cool.
\n24. Popcorn has always been cooked in the microwave.
