So we have a new cat.Our friends, Doug and Laura, had a friend (and Laura’s aunt), Viola, to whom they had given Laura’s cat Pearl a while back when the other cats in the household were having a problem. Viola just passed away, and Doug and Laura couldn’t take Pearl back, so …<\/p>\n

… so now we’re a house of three Kitties, including the newly-acquired black-sable long-hair petite Ms Pearl, the 11yo “maiden aunt” to our young ladies. She’s in quarantine in the guest room until kitty scents co-mingle in the household and we can do some gentle introductions. She seems a very friendly (and loving-to-be-petted) cat, and I think (hope) she’ll fit right in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
