While in Grand Junction we went to the Museum of Western Colorado "Dinosaur Journey" (https:\/\/www.museumofwesternco.com\/visit\/dinosaur-journey\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

It was … quaint. Small townish. Suitable for school field trips and bringing the (very) young'uns. Someone looking for serious dinosaur fossil work and coherent interpretive exhibits and the like … should probably give it a pass. Someone looking for animatronic dinosaurs that very much need repair and\/or new rubber skins … will find it the sort of thing they like.<\/p>\n

Which is unfortunate, because I'm sure the staff mean well, and this is a key fossil area that would benefit from a serious dinosaur museum. I suppose they really need a multi-million dollar donor to make that dream come true.<\/p>\n
