The only thing I'd add to the list are people who end communication links (phone calls, radio contact, video channels) by just hanging up, without any sort of good-bye or sign-off.<\/p>\n

TV Tropes That Bug Me<\/p>\n

•\tBinocular view that consists of overlapping circles
•\tNight scenes filmed during the day with a filter (OK, technical limitations of the day, but still…)
•\tComputers that don’t have a mouse
•\t…and computer users who make stuff happen by typing when they’re not even in a program but at the desktop
•\t…and multiple things popping up on a computer screen after two keystrokes, all of which are exactly the documents, photos, map locations, or entries the user needs
•\tPasswords that are cracked one character at a time, often after those characters have cycled numerous times
•\tPhones that give a dial tone when the receiving party hangs up
•\tPhone conversations that don’t allow the person on the other end time to respond
•\tPeople who knock on a door, wait two seconds, and knock again
•\tCars that blow up 10 feet down a cliff side or hill slope
•\tPacific tree frogs everywhere in the world
•\tRed-tailed hawk dubbed in for bald eagles
•\tTimers that aren’t in real time
•\tSupposedly full containers that have no weight (coffee cups, boxes, drums, etc.)
•\tTape recorders that make sound when rewinding
•\tKnives, spears, etc., that make whoosh sounds
•\tSkeletons with attached bones
•\tShort, tiny yawns<\/p>\n

There are more, but these are the ones that cropped up in the last couple of weeks and prompted this post.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
