We really watch very little TV "live" any more — election returns, breaking news (though that's as like now online as on the TV). Pretty much everything is via the DVR, or on disc, or (this is more +<\/span>Kay Hill<\/a><\/span>'s thing) streaming through Xfinity's On Demand service.<\/p>\n

Really, the only thing that militates for watching TV shows as they happen is not having to worry about being spoiled by commentary by others in social media. Well, that and disk space on the DVR.<\/p>\n
