And, you know whose fault <i>that<\/i> was:<\/p>\n<p>_&#39;In 2011, with gas prices rising, Republicans again insisted Obama was doing this on purpose. This odd line was pushed by Haley Barbour and the Koch brothers&rsquo; AFP, among others. When prices dropped, the argument went away. Then prices rose again, and the theory made a comeback, with prominent Republicans like Newt Gingrich, former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, and assorted Fox News figures insisting higher gas prices are the &ldquo;conscious policy of this administration.&quot;&#39;<\/p>\n<p>No sign of those accusations now, just general fearmongering about <i>cheap<\/i> gas hurting the bottom line of the Koch Bros and big oil companies.  <\/p>\n<p>Next up: hearing that it&#39;s a &quot;conscious policy of this administration&quot; to try to sway the election.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"sm2wpreshared\">Originally shared by <a href='https:\/\/plus.google.com\/101083456815352083930'>+Brian Gauspohl<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><b>WTF?
