And so it begins …<\/i><\/p>\n

Got up about fifteen minutes earlier than I had to, which is SOP for me. If I’d had a few days to set my alarm, I’d have ended up setting it for 4:30a, just in case …<\/p>\n

It’s a beautiful, cool morning. After beastly heat most of the weak, things began to break last evening. We got to bed later than I ought, but that’s okay — I slept the sleep of the soon-to-be-sleep-deprived. I’ll be okay.<\/p>\n

I’m all showered and clean and fresh. I have on my Frank Miller CBLDF <\/a>t-shirt (big clenched fist against lightning, a nice dusty blue background). I’ve got some other CBLDF shirts lined up for other freshening-up showers during the day.<\/p>\n

(I have to remain relatively respectable. Doyce mentioned he might swing past sometime today, and sit there and read the comics I’m reviewing that he thinks sound interesting. Heh.)<\/p>\n

All my Blogathon supplies and setup are ready. Internet connection is working. PC is humming. Music files waiting to be played. Coffee is dripping into the pot (I wonder if I can set up an IV drip). My little purple Lucky Cat of Inspiration sits upon my keyboard. (I really need to get a picture taken and posted. Well, I’ll have time, won’t I?) We hit CostCo yesterday, so various supplies of Goldfish and M&Ms and Coke and Barq’s and Girl Scout Cookies and Coffee Cake and the like are awaiting consumption.<\/p>\n

I sketched out some notes on various things to write about last night, during the game. And I have about two feet of comics from the last month to write about, besides that. <\/p>\n

I don’t think coming up with source material will be a problem. <\/p>\n

I’ve expanded the main index here to show the last 60 entries, rather than 30. That will mean slower load times, but it will also mean you sadist tuning in Sunday afternoon or Monday will be able to see the whole bloody mess. And if you can’t, all of the posts will be prefixed by “BT03.”<\/p>\n

I’ll be probably using SharpMT as my composer. If nothing else, it allows me to save things pre-publish without setting or messing up the date\/timestamp. Last thing I want to do today is re<\/i>write.<\/p>\n
