Since I’ve already had a slew of gaming posts today, I might as well chime in on the new v3.5 of D&D.<\/p>\n

Except there’s not much for me to say. Except it’s really annoying redoing my homebrew character sheets in Excel to delete and\/or rename various skills.<\/p>\n

Ironically, I haven’t played much straight 3E D&D since it’s issuing. Variant systems, like Star Wars<\/i> and Oriental Adventures<\/i>, yes. But Margie drew the fantasy straw in the family.<\/p>\n

It does sound like the PHB is somewhat better organized. <\/p>\n

The biggest resentment is, of course, going out and buying 3.5 books because of the nagging sense that Everything You Know is Wrong with your 3.0 ones. Or you can borrow them from Good Friends, which is a lot more likely this version around.<\/p>\n

Of course, there’s always 3.5 Haiku<\/a>, for those looking for something other than debates on how different weapons should be handled by different sized characters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
