These are just a few <\/i>of the many photographs mainstream media has been deliberately <\/i>releasing to the public showing our world leaders with halos. I’d say with the shape our world is in right now, they should have horns instead of halos.<\/p>\n

Well, I’m not sure that a picture of some, shot from below, with klieg lights over his head, counts as a “halo.” And given that the EU flag features a circle of stars, it’s way too easy to either inadvertently get someone’s head “haloed” by it, or else do so intentionally as a framing device. <\/p>\n

And the picture of Putin just looks like someone forgot the old “never let a telephone pole grow out of your subject’s head” rule. <\/p>\n

Given the zillions of photos that AP and Reuters issues ever day of these guys, I’d expect angelic iconography to be a lot better than this.<\/p>\n

Of course, the home page of the site <\/a>has some equally, um, interesting spins on world and national affairs.<\/p>\n
