I’ve adopted Masahiko Isshiki’s MT-PingedEntry<\/a> plug-in<\/a> for the most recent trackbacks. While MT’s MTPings containter gives you title and links to a blog entry elsewhere that has pinged\/trackbacked to one of yours, this plug-in gives you the info on which post those pings point to. Neat.<\/p>\n

You can see the results in the Most recent trackback pings … <\/i>section at the top of the main page. The other blog’s name is now linked to the other blog’s entry (title is as a link title), and the local post is now titled and linked to as well.<\/p>\n

It may seem unnecessary, but there have been times when I seriously scratched my head trying to figure out what a trackback was being linked to.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
