Etiquette is, of course, like grammar and spelling and word use, a matter of consensual expectations — if everyone knows how to behave, it makes behavior easy and comfortable and uncontentious. So, for example, if everyone started putting their elbows on the table at every function, then that would become the “proper” thing to do, even if lamented by a few die-hards.<\/p>\n

Interesting stuff, even if you don’t want to hire the consultants.<\/p>\n
