An interesting model for the question of affirmative sexual consent: how would you go about offering tea to someone, and how would you handle their declining for a cuppa.<\/p>\n

It's more complicated than that in many ways (as the comments show), but there is a beguiling simplicity of the tea model which makes it at least a worthy rule of thumb.<\/p>\n

(Side note: I am irked that I can't write about a "tea party" in this context without summoning up an entirely different context.)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
