+<\/span>Margie Kleerup<\/a><\/span> and I were actually discussing the prospect of some 1980s fantasy movie watching with +<\/span>Kay Hill<\/a><\/span> once her history class catches up to that just-pre-CG era of silliness and excess. And, poof, this list suddenly shows up.<\/p>\n

It's a pretty decent list, though the relative placement is YMMV, and it misses both Time Bandits<\/i> and Baron Munchausen,<\/i> both favorites of mine. (Many others are mentioned in the comments.)<\/p>\n

Still, as a reminder of some movies to watch with Kay (and some to avoid (and some to re<\/i> watch), it's a good starting point. (Thinking, in terms of ones not already viewed, Highlander, Excalibur, Time Bandits, Dark Crystal,<\/i> and, just for yocks, Beastmaster).<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
