I'm not a huge Spidey-fan, but I think they are doing things right here:<\/p>\n

1. No origin story. Spidey will be introduced as-is, backstory to be explored as needed. People who are interested know<\/i> who Spider-Man is, or how he got that way. No need for another take.<\/p>\n

2. Back to basics. Peter Parker (and, it seems, his actor) will be a 15-16yo, actually in high school.<\/i> This provides a refreshing contrast to the adult heroes of the Avengers, et al., and also gives them, potentially, a character that can grow up and age into things as those existing heroes\/actors age out and retire.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
