A while back, a meme was floating around the next regarding a “Cambridge study” that said, in essense, that reading comprehension is not affected so long as the first and last letters remain correct.<\/p>\n

A Cambridge speech and language researcher both disavows the post, and, to some degree, the assertions it makes<\/a>. Those who find that sort of stuff interesting will find this the sort of stuff they’re interested in, to paraphrase Lincoln.<\/p>\n
