I don&#39;t put any sort of formal sign-off at the end, just my name (and, if it seems appropriate, my company sig line).  I&#39;ll often have a last paragraph that serves as a sign-off (&quot;Let me know if there&#39;s anything I can do to assist. Thanks!&quot;), but no &quot;Regards&quot; or &quot;Best&quot; or &quot;Cheers.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>I do get emails from other with those closings. But, insidiously, they appear to be part of their sig line, with &quot;Regards, Joe-Bob&quot; at the bottom &#8230; in a different color or font. Which means there are no actual regards going on, just an automated pasting of text.
