To be fair, we don't know how the question was actually couched to him. Or necessarily what he meant by it. For example, Rorschach is a very interesting<\/i> character, and watching him and his mania through Watchmen<\/i> (movie or, preferably, graphic novel) plot is fascinating, if creepy. When it comes to memorable<\/i> comic book protagonists (neither "hero" nor "super" apply very well), Rorschach certainly fits the bill.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, it could be that Cruz just sees the iconoclasm, the convictions the dedication, the martyrdom, the Right-wing Talk Radio muttering, and the take-no-prisoners attitude, and thinks they're fun and inspirational. Which, unlike so many of these candidate fluff pieces, would actually tell you something about the man.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
