I&#39;ll confess one backhanded reason I like Chrome vs Firefox is that it will squeeze the tabs down until the site favicon vanishes, at which point I know I need to start closing tabs. This won&#39;t solve that problem, but it should take the pain out of having lots of tabs open for quite some time.
