Five lovely hours of outside goodness. I probably did more in the yard today than I did for most months last season. <\/p>\n

  1. Completely clean out, sort, rake, sweep, organize, and render the utility yard so that not only can you walk from one end to the other, you can actually push a cart through? Check<\/i>.\n
  2. Useless lengths of wood and log and old fence slats cut up for either kindling or trash? Check<\/i>.<\/p>\n
  3. Replace two missing back fence slats? Check<\/i>.<\/p>\n
  4. Till soil in three shady spots, rake in shady wildflower seeds? Check<\/i>.<\/p>\n
  5. Spread out 30 cubic feet of cedar mulch to keep our yard from blowing away this summer? Check<\/i>.<\/p>\n
  6. Apply water-in stuff to front lawn? Check<\/i>.<\/p>\n
  7. Reactivate the sprinkler system, remap it, examine each zone for problems, caper about in joy to discover that every single zone is working this spring, huzzah? Check<\/i>.<\/p>\n

  8. Take a few ibuprofin, take a nice shower, eat a big meal tonight? Oh, yeah, way<\/u> check!
