Like Les<\/a>, I’ve been trying out the MTClient<\/a> front-end to MT. A new version <\/a>is now available. I’m pretty happy with it, and look forward to the 2.0 upgrade<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n

If MTClient isn’t for you, SharpMT <\/a>is another good desktop client. I’m not sure I can articulate why I’m preferring the former to the latter at the moment, but either is much better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick (or having your web form mysteriously vanish).<\/p>\n

No, wait, I haven’t looked at the most recent upgrades to SharpMT. Drat. Let me get back to you …<\/p>\n

UPDATE: Okay, having odd problems with the latest SharpMT being unable to connect to my blog. Which it used to be able to do. Not sure if it requires a reboot or what, but that will have to wait.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
