And we get home and find … daffodils! <\/i> And muscari, and forsythia, and leafing apple trees, and flowing maples. But mostly daffodils.<\/p>\n

I was going to go out and do some watering. And then it started snowing. Not much, just enough to serve as a nice spring rain.<\/p>\n

This ushers in a whole new season of Work on the House. Among projects that need to be tackled:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Air conditioner.\n
  2. Replacing\/repairing siding.\n
  3. Painting\n
  4. Stairs up the front the house.\n
  5. Terracing and retaining wall in front of the house.\n
  6. Planting in same.<\/ol>\n

    I have a strong suspicion that not all those things will get done. Unfortunately, all of them are of large importance, for various reasons. But, likely, #1-3 (and maybe some temporary #6) will be the extent of it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
