\"Yay,Thursday<\/b><\/u>
\nWell, I already wrote about this back on Thursday, but I now have proof-positive <\/a>that Margie GMed for me. Really!<\/p>\n

Since it was a 1st Level, 4-player modulette, she let me take two 2nd Level characters. Thus, the husband-and-wife team of ugly-yet-bold fighter Blackjack and lovely-and-elvish cleric Valanthe. We kicked skeleton and kobold butt, and ended up with a new pet, to boot.<\/p>\n

Margie does need practice with sort of the GM mechanics <\/i>of knowing what’s where and when to look up tables and when to not. She did great with characterization and improv<\/i>, though, and did some nice on-the-fly battle balancing that I wasn’t aware of until she’d pointed it out to me. And she took a bare-bones micro-adventure and gave it some nice color and context<\/i>. Her villains (at least in combat) were not stupid<\/i>. <\/p>\n

In short, a budding talent, I must say, and one who’s a lot more diligent about prep work than I am.<\/p>\n

I’d natter on more about her plans, but that’s her gig to do. I’m looking forward to it, though.<\/p>\n

Friday<\/b><\/u>
\nWent over and helped Doyce with getting the repainted office back together. In the meantime, played Trollbabe<\/a>, an elegantly straightforward<\/a> RPG system<\/a>, a nice blend of narrativist and die-rolling bits. I don’t know that we gave it a fair work-out, but it was fun. I suspect we’ll see that system pop up again in the future.<\/p>\n

Sunday<\/b><\/u>
\nBack to Chrysalis<\/a>, Doyce’s Nobilis campaign. We ended up getting together late, chit-chatting later, and only getting a (charitably) couple of hours of gaming in. <\/p>\n

That was more than enough time, of course, for Sian to go through multiple re-angstings (just rereading the previous session was enough for that), to be have a chance to reach out to her Chancel brethren blown off, and to have her Imperator give her the run-around as to some “recovered” memories.
