Light years removed from the crudities of <em>Star Trek<\/em> TOS, the spacecraft and other goodies on S:1999 were always marvelous to see.<\/p>\n<p>To that end, here&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.martinbowersmodelworld.com\/Space%201999.htm\" target=\"_blank\">nice gallery page <\/a>by one of the lead model makers on the show, Martin Bowers.
