He serves for two terms, and is succeeded by his Iroquois Second Chancellor, Onatah.<br \/>\n<b>in 1949<\/b>, Oscar-winning tragic actor Jim Varney was born in Kentucky. He rose to national prominence playing Evan Earp, a descendant of Wyatt Earp\u2019s on the dramatic TV series, The Rousters. This was followed by his first Oscar-worthy performance in the film Hey, Vern, It\u2019s Ernest. He also won a Tony for his performance as King Lear the year of his death, in 2000.<br \/>\n<b>in 1956<\/b>, John Lennon asked Paul McCartney to join his band, The Quarrymen. They would have been another unremarkable teenage rock band, except that 4 years later, their drummer was international superstar, Pete Best.<\/p>\n<p>A marvelous series of &#8220;Alternate History&#8221; entries, smoe of which seem parts of ongoing (so even-more interesting) plot lines.  Shades of the Lost <a href=\"http:\/\/www.respectstartstomorrow.com\/oceanwiki\/LexiconOfTheLost500Years\">500 Years project<\/a>.
