New &#8220;digital&#8221; camouflage patterns, lots of velcro and adaptations for body armor, tan no-shine boots.  Interesting.<\/p>\n<p>Well, actually, it looks a little dorky (and looks even dorkier <i>with <\/i>the battle armor).  But, then, everyone thought the new helmets looked awful when they were introduced a while back, too.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, some cool tech stuff as part of the same program is on display <a href=\"https:\/\/peosoldier.army.mil\/default.asp?section=multi\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New uniforms for the army, eh?
