Picnic lunches in the park have given way to fast food restaurants with a “Play Place.”<\/p>\n
No, really.<\/p>\n
Katherine loves the Play Place jungle gyms\/habitrails. So we went there for lunch. So did a number of other parents. So you had the kids running around, screaming, yelling, playing, running back for bites, running away again to caper and frolic some more.<\/p>\n
The parents? Sitting there nibbling their food, reading books, etc.<\/p>\n
If it had been picnic baskets, a greensward, and swings — rather than trays, air conditioning, and habitrails — the scene would have been just the same.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
