SA speaks up on MT licensing issues.\" href=\"http:\/\/stupidevilbastard.com\/archives\/2004\/05\/15\/should_i_stay_or_should_i_go_sa_speaks_up_on_mt_licensing_issues.php\">more detailed analysis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My first impression is that 6A is still setting the price point a bit high, but things are looking a tad more palatable than before &#8212; enough, probably, that I&#8217;ve shifted from provisionally departing the MT fold to provisionally sticking around.<\/p>\n<p>I still need to check things out in detail, and won&#8217;t be shifting to MT3 any time soon (probably at least until the &#8220;General Edition&#8221; appears), but the consideration of what it will take to convert has been weighing on me, and is a major role in the concern.  (And that&#8217;s both in terms of ability to convert the data itself, and in having the old URLs that folks have linked to still be accurate).
