Flying home last night, Kitten was exhausted, and actually finally fell asleep (despite the raucousness of the several young women in powder-blue “Academy” t-shirts sitting behind us — looked too young for that <\/em>Academy, so I’m not sure where they were from, but they needed some minding by someone) on the plane. Getting off she was a little dead weight — or, actually, not that little, more like a 40-45 lb. dead weight. I got Carrying Kitten Duty, due to how we were in our seats, which meant that Margie was lugging our carry-on luggage, which I worried about a bit.<\/p>\n

I oughtn’t have, since Kitten was heavy<\/em>, all the way from the plane to the carousel to the car. My back and thighs are still <\/em>sore this morning …<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
