Which was perfectly true this morning, but, well, to be honest, it wasn’t my popularity, but someone else’s<\/a>:<\/p>\n

One of the sites hosted on hyperion [the server DDtB is hosted on]<\/em> has been linked from the Drudge Report. This has the effect of creating a much higher than normal traffic pattern, resulting in the server running out of available apache (web) connections from time to time as the maximum client limit is reached. We have increased the number of connections to the highest safe level to avoid as many out of connection errors as possible. We are monitoring the server and expect that this traffic will fade as other stories push this one down the list.<\/p>\n

This was somewhat old news to me, since when I’d noticed I was unable to load my blog, I was able to go to the server monitoring site<\/a> for HM and see that Hyperion was having problems<\/a>.<\/p>\n
