Phil Hester, a. Andy Kuhn [2\/2\/3\/2] <br \/>\nTeen angst is even greater when you&#8217;re the halfbreed son of a Godzilla-like dragon with whom the world is uneasily at peace.  Self-contained intro arc with high school, custody battles, UN conspiracies, and coming-of-age bits.  Good, solid stuff.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0785115617?&#038;tag=davedoesthebl-20\">Avengers:<\/em> Living Legends<\/a> (Marvel) w. Kurt Busiek, a. George Perez [2\/3\/2\/1]<br \/>\nEnd of the Busiek\/Perez run, full of the odd Busiek villains &#8212; Exemplars, Triune Understanding &#8212; with a bit of Kulan Gath and Vizh\/Wondy conflict to boot.  Pretty to look at, fun to read, but not the best of that era.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1401202306?&#038;tag=davedoesthebl-20\">Green Lantern\/Green Arrow<\/em> Vol. 2<\/a> (DC) w. Denny O&#8217;Neill, a. Neal Adams [2\/3\/2\/2]<br \/>\nMod, progressive 60s\/70s ground-breaking, now more than a bit trite and shrill, but then sharply relevant and exciting.  Complete with the &#8220;Speedy&#8217;s a junkie&#8221; and environmentalist crucifixion issues.
