Evidently quite a number of visitors are confused over why the ride doesn&#8217;t have Johnny Depp&#8217;s <em>PotC <\/em>movie character in it.  And ties between Disney flicks and the rides (even retcons thereto) are hardly unknown.  <\/p>\n<p>Indeed, as I was reading the article, my initial thought was that Jack (or perhaps Barbossa) might be inserted in the initial &#8220;pirate ship foolishly attacking the fort&#8221; tableau.  The idea of Jack hanging out in the <em>commandante<\/em>&#8216;s treasure chamber is a bit better.
