The thing is on nearly 24\/7 on various kid&#8217;s channels.  I wish I had residuals from it &#8230;\n<li>The &#8220;message waiting&#8221; light on the Motorola cable box is even more annoying than the one on the old General Instruments box, probably because it&#8217;s the same little red LED (only in a different spot) as the &#8220;I&#8217;m recording now&#8221; light.  Given that the &#8220;message waiting&#8221; is, nine times out of ten, an ad for PPV Boxing, it&#8217;s the equivalent of a really annoying banner ad.  Rrg.<\/p>\n<li>When the little record LED comes on, though, telling you that the machine is recording a show on the other tuner, I am seized by an almost uncontrollable urge to Swap tuners (or turn on the TV) and see what it&#8217;s recording.<\/ol>\n<p>No other lessons so far, except that 30-60h of recording time is beginning to look like it&#8217;s way too little (which is, itself, a bit alarming) &#8230; \ud83d\ude42  I have to rewire the console to get everything goinb back through the A\/V receiver, but once that&#8217;s in place, life should be pretty good.
