Margie’s seriously looking at getting a new cell phone. The current one — my old beloved Nokia 6160<\/a> I passed on to her over three years ago<\/a>. And, as part of it, she’s pondering changing her cell service plan, carrier, all that good stuff. Which means she has the unenviable task of researching cell phone providers for minimal plans that (a) won’t give her a zillion times as many minutes as she actually is ever likely to use, and (b) won’t make her feel like every second she is <\/em>on the phone is like pouring money down a storm drain. And then, on top of that, she’ll need to then figure out the best deal from that provider for a cheap phone with minimal features except for a long battery life and buttons she likes.<\/p>\n

Heh. I wish her well. At least the number of providers keeps dwindling.<\/p>\n

We also are in desperate need of a replacement home laser printer, as our Samsung’s paper feed mechanism is kaput (and service costs will exceed the replacement price, natch). That’s my <\/em>research project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
