\"daveicon_9696.gif\" This is a very cool personal portrait-icon generator<\/a>. It’s set up to create two different sizes of MSN Messenger icons, large (96×96) and small (48×48), and it has a pretty complete (if eccentric) set of customizations.<\/p>\n

Three warnings:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. It’s Japanese. Very Japanese. That goes for both some of the accessorizing and for the, um, interesting instructions. “The part of a face or the body is choose and a portrait icon is made on-line.”<\/em>\n
  2. It has a tendency to lose its settings when you click on Create, which means you have to redo all the settings. While there is preview on the screen, not all the settings are as ultimately rendered (color, for example).<\/p>\n
  3. The page renders and works much better in IE than in Firefox (rrrrg).<\/ol>\n

    Aside from that, pretty fun.<\/p>\n
