Winter Storm Warning<\/a> in effect until 6 am MST Sunday…<\/p>\nThe National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Winter Storm Warning. Snow will increase and become heavy at times today and tonight… then taper off Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
Storm total snow amounts will range from 8 to 16 inches in the foothills and mountains… mainly east of the Continental Divide. Snowfall totals from 6 to 12 inches are possible at lower elevations along and west of Interstate 25.<\/p>\n
A Winter Storm Warning means that hazardous weather conditions are imminent or highly likely. Road conditions will deteriorate by this evening. Travelers should check the latest conditions and allow extra time for safe travel.<\/p>\n
