Now &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Folks, if you don&#8217;t understand the difference between DRAFT mode and PUBLISH mode &#8230; or if you don&#8217;t maintain separate DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION environments, you just plain ol&#8217; freakin&#8217; don&#8217;t deserve to have an Internet site.  Or connection.<\/p>\n<p>At the very least, you need to have an editor who vets and approves <em>anything <\/em>that gets posted online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"block\">At this hour, President Bush has won re-election as president by a 47 percent to 43 percent margin in the popular vote nationwide.  Ralph Nader has 1 percent of the vote nationwide.  That&#8217;s with 51 percent of the precincts reporting.<\/p>\n<p>So reports <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/images\/wbay.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">WBAY TV, Action 2 News, the local ABC affiliate in Green Bay<\/a>.  Or so says an AP by-lined story on their web site.  <\/p>\n<p>Yeesh.<\/p>\n<p><small>(via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/2004\/10\/07\/tv_station_reports_t.html\" target=\"_blank\">BoingBoing<\/a>)<\/small><\/p>\n<p>UPDATE:  AP takes the <s>blame<\/s> credit, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/images\/wbay-1.jpg\">claiming it was just a &#8220;test article&#8221;<\/a> that WBAY grabbed by mistake.
