Let’s start with the not-as-bad-as-I’d-feared news. I’ve not been terribly diligent on the Geek Diet, and, what with chocolate eggs and the like still swarming about the house, I was a tad worried as I approached the scale this morning.<\/p>\n

Disappointing to be back up over the mark, but not as bad as it could have been. Partial <\/em>restraint, I guess, pays off.<\/p>\n On the up side, I took in last week some dry cleaning that had been accumulating for … well, a while. A loooong while. Some years, in fact.<\/p>\n One item in the stack was one of my suits, which happens to be my going-away suit from my wedding, which, you’ll recall, was a decade ago.<\/p>\n It fits. I am, stature-wise, approximately where I was a decade<\/strong> ago.<\/em> Which is probably better than most folks (and certainly better than I <\/em>was a year ago).<\/p>\n For the record, another suit I still have, from, um, the previous <\/em>getaway occasion, two <\/em>decades ago, does not <\/em>fit. Which, I suppose, is ironically appropriate.
