{"id":7631,"date":"2005-01-24T22:29:59","date_gmt":"2005-01-25T05:29:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/wp\/2005\/01\/24\/but-i-think-youll-be-impressed-by-its-insouciance.html"},"modified":"2005-01-24T22:29:59","modified_gmt":"2005-01-25T05:29:59","slug":"but_i_think_you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2005\/01\/24\/but_i_think_you.html","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;But I think you&#8217;ll be impressed by its insouciance!&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, this is just crazy-talk.<\/p>\n<p class=\"block\">This is a rustic Pinot, with <b>earthy<\/b>, <b>meaty <\/b>aromas combined with the famous Carneros <b>bitter cherry<\/b>.  <b>Cinnamon <\/b>and <b>red-hot candies <\/b>follow on the palate, along with <b>leather <\/b>and <b>green-tea <\/b>flavors.  <b>Cherry cola<\/b>, <b>rhubarb<\/b>, and <b>damp leaves <\/b>finish the mix &#8212; hitting much of the range of possible Pinot flavors.<\/p>\n<p>Um, I&#8217;m not normally a Pinot Noir aficionado to begin with, but no matter what we are taking about, <em>none <\/em>of that sounds like a particularly appealing combination, and some of it sounds downright nasty in and of itself.  <em>Damp leaves?<\/em>  Where do they <i>get <\/i>this stuff?<\/p>\n<p><small>(Now playing: Nylons &#8211; &#8220;Drift Away&#8221;)<\/small><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, this is just crazy-talk.
