To wit, SciFi&#8217;s new <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scifi.com\/battlestar\/\" target=\"_blank\">Battlestar Galactica<\/a><\/em>, which I finally watched the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0314979\/\" target=\"_blank\">mini-series<\/a> of this afternoon, whilst cleaning.<\/p>\n<p>I wouldn&#8217;t put it at <em>B5\/Firefly<\/em> class, or even <em>Farscape, <\/em>but it&#8217;s good, solid &#8220;war in space&#8221; stuff, lacking the hokiness of the original, but with enough of an homage to it to satisfy nostalgia for same.  Some marvelously grim bits (including one little girl who really reminded me of Katherine), but decent entertainment, and a whole load of plot hooks it will be interesting to watch.<\/p>\n<p>Thank heavens for the DVR &#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230; another TV show to watch.
