{"id":7738,"date":"2005-08-24T15:05:25","date_gmt":"2005-08-24T22:05:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/wp\/2005\/08\/24\/wordstructure-mean-things.html"},"modified":"2005-08-24T15:05:25","modified_gmt":"2005-08-24T22:05:25","slug":"wordstructure_m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2005\/08\/24\/wordstructure_m.html","title":{"rendered":"Words(tructure) Mean Things"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I only encountered <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geocities.com\/gene_moutoux\/basicdiagrams.htm\" target=\"_blank\">sentence diagrams<\/a> once in my life, in the 8th grade, where my English teacher used them drawing on old books she&#8217;d recovered from the closets of the junior high (every school has old book closets, and they are often full of treasures). <\/p>\n<p>I loved it.  It was just the sort of geeky, rules-discerning, writing-related kind of thing that someone like me would get into.
