Hopefully this isn’t an omen for the new work year:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Wake up 90 minutes late because, even though I know <\/em>I turned on the alarm last night, it was not turned on this morning.\n
  2. Discover that my Treo is hung and won’t respond or restart. Determine, after 20-odd minutes of fiddling, that I have to do a hard restart.<\/p>\n
  3. Discover, when I arrive at the office, that I didn’t bring my charger cable for my phone, which is near dead.<\/p>\n
  4. Discover that, no, I never really did get around to getting BackupBuddy installed on my Treo after I got it, so I am subject to the vagueries of resyncing stuff and hoping it all gets put in place.<\/ol>\n

    Fortunately, countervening some of that, at most I’ve only “lost” a week’s worth of non-work changes on the Treo (since I synced before I left the office last week), and any of the pictures I snapped I was able to migrate off to the SD card. <\/p>\n

    And, on the bright side, the commute in this morning was only 60, not 90, minutes. Even if I should really, therefore, stay late tonight.<\/p>\n
