As in, &#8220;We onboarded the new hires.&#8221;  Okay, it&#8217;s a shortening of a term, so it&#8217;s got a scosh of respectability.  Still, way too Dilbertish.\n<li><strong>Solution<\/strong>:  To come up with one or more solutions.  See also, &#8220;solve.&#8221;  As in, &#8220;We&#8217;re looking to solution the problem.&#8221;  Um, see also, &#8220;solve.&#8221;<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you.<\/p>\n<p><u>UPDATE<\/u>:  I was a bit bemused to discover that we no longer call the department &#8220;Quality&#8221; but &#8220;Performance Management.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following two words are not verbs, no matter how much some folks think they should be: Onboard: To bring on board.
